I needed to do ink fingerprinting and the Police department will do it for free if you a Mundelein resident. I went down here and everybody i met was really helpful and friendly! It was quick and easy

When u get a parking ticket for parking in a correct parking lot for 10min, and the case was easily thrown out; they seem to be preying on people and hoping they can't afford a lawyer and are gullible enough to accept it.

Mundelein's Police Department is THE BEST of the best. We are so grateful to have them protecting us. Stay safe everyone.ud83dude4fud83cudffcud83dudc6eud83cudfff‍♂ufe0fud83dudc6e‍♀ufe0fud83cuddfaud83cuddf8

I appreciate their efforts and service but there's been a semi parked in the middle of the our parking lot all night with the engine running. The driver is gonna get more sleep than me and I pay rent to live here. This is definitely not a truck stop but seems like no one cares except me.

Update: I love how my vehicle gets damaged on private property in unincorporated Mundelein and I'm told to contact the lake county sheriff's department, yet I can get pulled over due to a registration light being out by Mundelein PD in Vernon Hills. That's okay, nearly $400 in damages and lost wages mean nothing, but a $16 two pack of light bulbs require issuing a $120 ticket outside your jurisdiction. Great job.nnMorning shift is fine, and they seem to do honest work. Night shift seems to be full of people who treat the town like it's an Afghan checkpoint for ISIS. When I was a child, I experienced being pulled over by them with my disabled father as I was helping him deliver newspapers. Despite seeing a child in the vehicle, and the visible handicapped placard, they refused to let him out of the vehicle when he requested to do so due to his disability. When he could no longer take the pain from sitting, he got out of the vehicle; the cop was shouting at him to get back in the vehicle as he readied to draw. A kid, a disabled person and right next to a gas pump - let that sink in. Years later I began working in the town and got to be on the receiving end. Why waste time with people delivering food? I'm tired of it. This isn't Iraq, people aren't hiding weapons caches and heroin under pizzas or whatever food the customer orders. The most dangerous thing about this town is the potholes. I don't understand why departments like Waukegan and Zion, departments that actually deal with dangerous situations, behave more professionally than this department. If your staff is itching for combat again, tell them to reenlist or join a private military group - you don't need these kind of people in a somewhat sleepy suburban town with its biggest headline recently being about people at a spa selling handys.
