Forest Park Police Department

The Forest Park Police Dept is for sure a joke. I have been parking my car, in the same spot every day for work since I got transferred there almost 8 months ago. Today, I get a ticket, and was told by the PO that they regularly patrol that block. He also stated that he PERSONALLY went into my place of business and told everyone there where they are allowed to park. Not only is that a LIE, they also claimed to have chalked my tires, YET, there was NO CHALK on the tire at the time of the ticket, nor was it there all day. My guess, is that someone else called to complain, and he wasn't man enough to admit it. Quotas must be down for that guy!

I work for an organization that helps homeless and mentally ill, and went to Forest Park PD to file a missing person report for a member of ours. They were very understanding and knowledgeable about how to approach the situation and were very proactive in efforts to help locate my member.

miller we don't pay you to harass and definiteley not to stand on the sidewalk all day. your department is laughable

Arrested me for a petty nonviolent traffic stop. Kept saying he was going to give me a break. Didn't. Said he would get me an i-bond. Didn't. Said he could seize my car and put it up for auction but didn't because he didn't feel they would get much for it. Feeling insulted. Also I was not allowed to take my property or money with me when I was transferred which almost feels like a violation of my civil rights. I'm boycotting the town of Forest Park at this point because I don't feel I've ever been treated with so much disrespect. At least thanks to social media and there's no more hiding behind their badges. I even saw one of my arresting officers at court and tried waving politely because that's how I was raised. But was ignored and not even acknowledged because that must be how they were raised.

Unbelievably smug and unprofessional officers. They have nothing better to do on the tax payer's dime but harass and follow people beyond any reasonable amount of time who are clearly not breaking any laws. All the while laughing about it.nTo think they will be receiving a pension someday is disturbing society can do better than this but Police Unions keeps the bad apples employed.
