Beautiful historic home in oak park. Free tours on Thursday 11am to 3pm call ahead because of covd 19
We recently held a celebration of life at Pleasant Home. The staff could not have been better. The space is fantastic and the guests had lots of room to spread out and spill out on to the porch and grounds. I am told that a/c is in the works. This will make it even better. Alice and Paul were outstanding.
Just walked past by accident on the way to the conservatory. Stopped in on the way back to the hotel. Interesting comparison and contrast to Frank Lloyd Wright's design by a contemporary at the Sullivan firm. Interested to learn about the former owners. Got to see the second floor which was less formal and more liveable.
A gorgeous temple, close to the lakefront. Serene, peaceful, spiritually abounds. Learn about the B'hai faith, meditate and enjoy.
Fabulous home and great tour. The charitable foundation is doing a great job keeping it up.
