Ace Hardware Corporate Headquarters

Boycott Ace hardware store in Salida Colorado. Employees not masked up. Every other store I have been in in town is working diligently to keep the community safe. Unconscionable.

In November I had purchased a Toro snowblower. In February I received a potential injury hazard notice from Toro. I contacted my Ace Hardware store in Kenosha and they were in the middle of a move so I gave them my phone number to call me back. Two and a half weeks later still no response. I went to the store where the made a copy of my notice and I gave them my name and home and cell phone number. It is now a little over two more weeks and I still have not received any response. I am totally disappointed in how I am being treated as a customer. If I would have done this to my customers I would have been fired. I will have to look for another service dealer to get my snowblower checked.

I was lied to multiple times on recorded lines with customer service supervisors. The phone call was disconnected and when I called back the gentleman explained that the supervisor notated and said she tried calling me back and that my cell phone with call waiting rang busy. Cell phones don't ring busy yet somehow I'm put back through the loop and told to wait for her phantom call that I have proof never existed in the first place. A lifelong ace customer that will not only discontinue our patronage but will be escalating this within my chamber of commerce and the BBB. This isn't acceptable customer service to lie and notate false statements. When I ask for record of the calls that I was lied to on, I am told that is only for internal use. I have been a regional director for Verizon for 8 years and don't understand how such a anti transparent policy could exist. When I have to make escalation calls to customers I actually do my job and would never notate fraudulent information in regards to my duty to our customers. 0 stars

Went in Ace to buy a paint brush. Noticed outside and inside a total of four employees not wearing their face masks appropriately; either below the nose or only around the neck.nAt checkout an older lady employee was training a new employee. The latter was wearing a mask while the former was not. I stated my concern and the elder female employee chose to engage in semantics with me regarding the fine points of of the healthcare mandate.nIt’s time we view this noncompliance in terms of insubordination. Employees are expected to follow policies and regulations. In addition it is not appropriate for employees to challenge customers as in this case with the employee knowing the policy regarding this matter.nApparently management is not supervising employees in this matter since this customer experienced this same activity a month ago.nAs a satisfied, long time customer I appreciate the hands on experience and personal attention to customers Ace brings to the table.nThis present deficiency is unfortunate as it is a poor reflection on what otherwise is an exceptionally pleasant and satisfying shopping experience.
