Great Bear Wilderness

3/2021 We are so glad this opened back up! Loved seeing the Polar bears play and chase their food. The brown bear was amazingly huge and active today. Love this exhibit. A favorite of our family every time we go.

First place i saw great big polar bears. Omg polar bears are huge and marvelous to look at. Just wondering how much they are able to adapt in hot weather in the zoo which is why one was always swimming in the water. My kid loved experiencing the bear from close by.

The polar bear is concerning as the pacing is followed by a violent head wobble. Other folks may see it as cute or nothing to worry about, but I can assure that isn't normal behavior for a polar bear underneath the Chicago sun. :(nOther bears seem perfectly fine and content with their habitat set up however.

Cool seeing the big bears

Give the animals more space or leave them in the wild.
