As the school year is close to an end, I want to express my gratitude towards the teachers and administration. My daughter enjoys coming to school every day! She even aspires to be a teacher. Only thing I wish was different about the school is that there was a more diverse faculty. It would be great to have minority role models that students could up to. According to the Illinois report card 100% of the teachers are Caucasian/white which is not a reflection of the school or Lagrange Park/Brookfield Community.nnHopefully soon!

BROOKPARK ELEMENTARY taught me how to have strength, courage, self esteem, and respect for all people and for the best teachers in all of our town.. ! Thank you !nI went to school here in 1964/65 and graduated the 8th grade in 1968.nBrookpark Elementary was my heart ! I had so much fun with our education... Cake walks, sock hops, and playing volleyball in the gym.. WOW.nI'm 63 years old and I just wonder if any of our teachers ever keep in touch.nDoes anyone remember Mr.Kruger ??nAwsome Social Studies and History teacher. And our music teacher, I'm ashamed I can't remember her name, but she was beautiful. Long reddish hair and a beautiful slim face. So kind and had a awsome voice... one of our teachers were Irish and the other was Scottish. On St. PATRICK'S day we were allowed to take turns running into the Scottish class and throw green paper all over his room. Lol.nThen his class would come to our classroom and throw orange paper .. I guess you had to be there, but we had so much fun with our education. Fantastic teachers. ! Thank you Brookpark Elementary! !
