AS LONG AS YOUR FRIENDS WITH MR Z, MS EVANS, AND MS BEYER YOU'RE GONNA BE ALRIGHT BECAUSE EVERY OTHER TEACHER FROM #RD GRADE AND UP ARE COMPLETE BULL WHEN IT COMES TO TEACHING ABILITY

Genuinely appalled with the Mickey Mouse operation the principal is running at the school. This is the second time I pick my daughter up from school for early dismissal. Both times I wasn’t asked for identification. I was told that “we are familiar with the parents” so I asked the principal if she knows me and she said no. Exactly. You don’t know me and so you don’t me from my child’s father to just being a neighbor. When I asked her if she understood the legality of just letting the student leave without verifying any identification or file she said she did because she’s the principal. I expect more from her. If she did understand legalities as she claimed she understands that if any student was allowed to go home with someone that wasn’t their parent with full rights or a appointed guardian they could be sued. Again, I’m sure she understood this, but most of simply forgotten. Furthermore, the doors were locked, I was buzzed in without any questions. There was no security at the front desk, no pen to sign in and so I simply walked to the window with no trouble on my end and clearly no concern on the schools part. She said “we’re here to nurture” and yet they failed to include safety. This is the second time this has happen. I fully intend to write to the school district, superintendent and so on. I’m disgusted with her response and also the schools security measure. I’m sure there are cameras in the school to back up my claims.

As I have been to this school I can say I had a mostly negative experience. Though i did enjoy the presence of most of my classmates they were not the issue. I remember the year i was an eighth grader the fire alarm was pulled as a joke constantly. In that same year I was I can recall constant fights in the bathroom imposed by seventh graders. You could even say attempted murder had occurred on multiple occasions. The punishment was unheard of. You get caught talking while a substitute teacher is present and you get capital punishment in relation to being in a school. If you are caught attempting to break a mirror and gash a fellow student it is a slap on the wrist. The teachers completely abuse power the higher the grade, seventh and eighth grade teachers being the worst. I can only assume they like to feel powerful among the powerless. In all my experience was traumatic. Like I said the students in my grade were very enjoyable, but they could not compare with the atrocities I witnessed. I recommend reconsidering where to send your child.

Excellent educational system. I can't deny this however the school system does not have a lot of African-American due to the low numbers attending there. Lot of the students carry Prejudice demeanors due to the fact of what must be going on in their home. Not well diverse when it comes to dark skin compared to Polish American and Irish American Working Families. A lot of these parents need to have sensitivity training so they're kids won't inherited their slightly unknown innocent bigotry. It starts from at home however it spills to the school by innocent children.
