Lyons Village Police Department

Long story short. I was pulled over in Summit Il today by a Lyons police officer Barajas *232. I never drove through lyons ( o had just gotten off the highway coming home from work) but i was still pulled over by this officer for allegedly having my windshield tinted.. after the officer discovered it was NOT tinted he took it further and searched my vehicle without permission OR PROBABLE CAUSE.. ALOT MORE HAPPENED but I’ll just say that the officer put me in handcuffs and in the back seat of his car for not having my license on me..(I was not irate, uncooperative, violent, aggressive or pose any safety threat to the officer or the public) the officer didn't have a mask or any PPE on at any point and proceeded to touch my belongings and my self/person... thats just to say the least...other than that the two of the other officers from Lyons were really nice..

Ok, I think all police stations in US need to have officers like this one. Yesterday officer Forrest with his partner solves my problem about missing truck in 4 hours! He didn’t just make report like they usually do. He starts to work right away on that situation and in the middle of night we find a truck! Thank you very much guys! Great job

Great service but I have une cuestión if I seem someone smoking marijuana driving his car Should I call them or wait for them to get him

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me and their patrol SUV was incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.nnP.S. Wear a sweater, holding cells are very cold.

My niece lives there, we had an incident with our neighbors, the police was very nice and handled it very professionally, without discriminating anyone. Very good job chief!!!
