I have been bringing repairs to Holland Hardware for many many years and have always had excellent repair work done.nI have brought lamps that needs rewiring ,nbroken dining room chairs , screens that needed to be replaced , dimmers put on lamps switches to many other items that needed repair.nI can honestly say ,nthat their workmanship has always been great as well as their pricing.

Found this shop based on recommendation for the refinishing of a 60+ year old floor lamp (not overly expensive, but from my husband's grandfather) that had been painted white years ago. This shop stripped the paint, replaced electrical components, and sold me a fitter. 2-stars for the paint stripping, but shop was unable to address pitting at the base; finish began to tarnish almost immediately and was unevenly applied; electrical work was inadequate as the on/off knob was extremely difficult to turn and would have broken or stripped in no time; fitter was ill-fitting and of non-customary measurements (as I found while shopping for a shade). This was my first experience in having any furniture refinished, so I paid ($250+) and took this lamp home for what it turned out to be. While shopping for a lamp shade, another shop owner could not believe the poor craftsmanship! I found a silversmith in Skokie, paid another $750, and had this lamp overhauled again... I cannot believe that Holland Hardware would even begin to offer services that they are inadequately experienced/trained/stocked to do! Do your research, and take your furniture elsewhere!

Can fix about anything. Hard to find initially, but worth it. Fair prices and timely services. They have fixed three lamps for us.

Park on W Hinsdale Ave (South side of Burlington tracks)nbetween Washington St (Starbucks) and the street west of that, Lincoln St. There is a nice alley/walkway between Washington & Lincoln. Walk in and you'll see it on right.

They re-wired our antique lamp. Beautiful work for $50.nnWould definitely go back and recommend to friends!
