Lynwood Police Department

Telephone operator or receptionist- whomever very curt and lacks compassion. As a resident I'd think that if someone is voicing their concern about unruly neighbors albeit loud music or whatever the case you would assume the matter would be taken seriously, but I suppose not when it doesn't affect them directly. What a shame!

I just moved to Lynwood a couple months ago, and I understand that officers have to do their jobs, but how does this department justify charging people $500, PLUS $20 processing fees, PLUS all these other fees they deem necessary, to give you a RELEASE form in the event THEY have your vehicle towed?!! It is outrageous and shows nothing but pure greed. $500 could be someone’s GROCERY money to feed their family! THIS car was my families ONLY means of transportation and the fact that people are slapped with a $500 release fee on top of the Tow companies fees is a underhanded way of permanently stealing people’s vehicles! This is how people lose respect for the way in which police Departments are operating!

Horrible men if you can call them that complete lack of compassion for humans or animals keep your pets indoors i have video of them laughing at me for having anxiety panic attacks and severe depression and calling me a cutter despite documented trauma events which caused my scars and laughing continuing to laugh about it. How do you sleep at night. One person can make a difference. I sure hope noone treats their daughters or wives or mothers the way they treated me today. Again all on video.

When Police don't keep their word and commitments, it undermines trust in the community. It makes it less likely people will support them. This was my experience with the Police Chief and Deputy Chief. Honesty is a key element lacking in this Department.
