T J's Laundry & Dry Cleaning

I love coming here to do my laundry because it's about the only CLEAN laundry mat around Urbana. Thank God for your workers they are truly nice.

DO NOT use their dry cleaning services. They are terrible. I lost money at this location. I could have done a better job just using a washing machine. Two shirts (professional grade). Ruined. They offered to send it back but I contend, they should've done it right the first time considering their prices. I hope whomever decides to buy this guy out ends their relationship with the outsourced dry cleaner they use. They didn't want to give me their name. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I used this place once to get my down comforter cleaned. There were 2 issues.n1. The date & time for pick-up was not established when I dropped off the comforter...I am not sure if they still do business this way, but I found it to be inconvenient. I had to call to see when it would be done. If I recall correctly it took a week or so.n2. When I got the comforter back it was still damp & had an odd smell to it (understandable about the smell due to feathers being inside a down comforter)...Still, if you call yourself a dry cleaner, then the items that customers pick up should be DRY... Eventually it dried & the smell went away, but it was inconvenient that I had to wait to use it again until it completely dried.

Very comfortable and relaxing place to go wash and dry your clothes.

Dry cleaning services were definitely not worth it. Took a formal dress to get afew small spots out for a wedding and ended up bringing it home looking like it never got cleaned. Hand washed the item myself and made it look brand new.
