Another driver swerved to miss a piece of tire in the road, overcorrected and came right in front of our motorhome totaling it. Thank God no one was injured. Just shook up.nThe officers that came to our rescue went above and beyond to help us. Even called the tow truck for us. Drove us to the rental car company.nThat you ,thank you , thank you !!!!!

Trained with these guys back in the day. Theres no better Law Enforcement Agency in the United States.

No one is available to answer the office phone. No one has returned calls for 10 days so far. However, I know this is a difficult time and staffing appears to be short.

I broke down with a flat tire at a very dangerous part of 255 with my grandbabies in the car this afternoon and was not sure what to do. I didn't have to worry because state officer Bemis saved the day and changed my tire. Who knew they did that? Thank God for police officers that are kind, thoughtful and take the time to help. I got pulled over for speeding. I was given a warning instead of a ticket, I know the officer was being very gracious because I definitely deserved a ticket. He was also easy to talk with which took away my anxiety about being pulled over! I'm proud that policemen like him are on the force in IL!!
