Ace Hardware - Carlinville

Ace is the place. I love having a good store in my home town.

They would not honor the gift card I received for Christmas. They said their store doesn't take gift cards purchased from Ace online. Well, that's helpful. Now I have a gift card the local Ace won't take--purchased from Ace. Horrible customer service...no effort in trying to help.

Has always had exactly what I've needed. Friendly people, very helpful.

One of my favorite stores! Smaller than a normal Ace. They do screen repairs and cut keys and glass. They have dollar sections throughout. There is a hidden room that has mowers and birdbaths and other yard stuff. There's so many little things and rooms in here to look at that it takes me forever everytime I go in.
