Depot Museum

Wanted to come here on our vacation but the second we entered we had hands flung in our face, while getting yelled at that they were closed, and open ONLY on Saturdays. Maybe put up a sign saying you're ONLY open on Saturdays then?

The learning never stops here. They make sure to answer all questions.

It's FREE. They were very kind and knowledgeable. They even opened their back door for my handicapped sister to enter and leave closer to our car parked near that rear door. What a nice little museum with detailed information about their town.

Voluntary donation admission. Plan on 1 hour to see it. Huge parking lot. Local museum with MANY original artifacts, displays, and short interpretive signs. Train, settler, and Native history. Discussion related to the development of the town, cotton, local heros, war items & biographies. Definitely worth the visit.

Lots of neat nostalgic pieces. Free to the public, they accept donations only to keep it running. Loved the art work and the artist they had featured and on display at our visit in June 2018. Lots of sikeston history there
