Quincy Police Department

Amidst a pandemic, I somewhat understand, but the department just isn't as responsive as they need to be. Officers don't appear to be as concerned with public welfare as they should be, and have recently filed 2 police reports. It's been 2 weeks and have not been reached back out to regarding either one. I feel as if they DO have the time, just don't choose to make it a priority.

So I'm a hitchhiker and I've dealt with police officers on a daily basis for nearly 26 years. I have to give the quincy police department some props. They were the most friendly considerate and kind people that I've ever met on the police force.

good Police department when I move to Quincy Illinois back in February I didn't have anything. I was sleeping on an air mattress and one of the officers who I contacted in regards to someone stole some stuff from me. had offered to help me get a bed that I can sleep on considering that I am disabled

I worked there in my past, for 1 1/2 years. A terrible experience. Internal hostile work environment. There are good cops there too, but there should be.

Quincy's Police Department sucks!!! I will never call them if another emergency happens ever again!! I waited for around 35-40 minutes for them to show up or call me after I'd gotten beat up, kicked repeatedly in my head and I have heart valve disease and I took it like they didnt care at all and didnt bother showing up. Someone wil end up dead before they get around to any of the work they are suppose to do! Its obvious they just take joy rides around Quincy and dont feel like doing real work. Quincy would be better off without this lazy taskforce! Their daily main goal must be to catch all the donut and coffee sales around town! Thanks for nothing, because of the pathetic dirty Quincy police I got my head bashed in because they didnt show up, must have been at Dunkin Donuts! No wonder this world is messed up, our police officers suck when it comes to emergency situations. They would probably hide under Dunkin Donuts if we would ever have a terrorist attack here. Crimes are going to go way up if you guys dont pull your heads out of dunkin donuts and do SOMETHING!!! Im so sick of Quincy!! Im defonintly not safe here, no wonder tons of people are moving elsewhere.
