What a beautiful salon. I had a haircut with Kate. She is one of the kindest, gentlest people. She is more than a stylist. She “took care” of me throughout the service. This salon has elegant touches to make this an experience not just a haircut. Give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Ashley was very welcoming! She listened to my concerns about my hair and gave suggestions. The salon is beautiful and she exceeded all of my expectations! I’ve had many compliments on my hair after being at Beautistry by Eileen!

Wow! Definitely the place to go in Decorah especially if you are looking for more of a high end experience and atmosphere, something hard to find in a small town! Beautistry is the new salon at the end of Water street, previously also a salon, now with new ownership and a complete renovation and facelift inside and out. The new space is STUNNING! It looks and feels like a salon that belongs in Chicago or New York- clean, modern, high end. The owner is a woman named Eileen who is from Decorah but has traveled and lived around the country attending all kinds of classes to further her education and techniques in hair and makeup. I received a trim and blowout from Eileen that would have cost me double the money in a larger city. You could tell she was not only skilled but also really cared and listened to what I wanted. I love my new cut and will definitely be back.
