Although a lot of the Park was closed due to COVID, the Hatfield & McCoy museum part was open. The gentleman there, and his wife were absolutely amazing people! They were beyond welcoming, so extremely friendly and helpful! Might I add, her baked goodies are exceptionally delicious! They welcomed us in, and although the gem mining was closed, he showed us around and assisted us with creating a “take-home” gem mining experience for our children! I seriously can not thank you both enough for your kindness, many people in this world could learn a thing or two from you! A+++ place and would HIGHLY recommend to everyone visiting this area! ❤ufe0f
