Mostly shaded, easy walk. Roadside attraction more than amusement park. They're operating at 80% capacity, which is a little difficult to distance and staff aren't properly wearing masks in the gift shop. I'd give it 5 ud83cudf1f if not for that. $8 admission for everyone during pandemic since some parts are closed off, which is reasonable.
Absolutely loved it! So did the rest of my family! The trail is beautiful, and the dinosaurs are huge! Staff are super friendly and the prices are not bad! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves dinosaurs or has little ones that love dinosaurs! Nature lovers would also love this place, with beautiful trees and well maintained trails, it's a must see in Kentucky!
The staff was great and really enjoyed the walking tour. Wish everything else was open. Other people were disgusted that we had our dog there, but their website clearly says dogs are allowed. I would recommend it for great educational fun for the whole family.
I was really surprised and impressed at the amount of effort put into this place. The amount of statues on the Dino walk was delightful and staggering. The museum and Dino walk both had placards detailing the history and origins of each species.nnFor young children it’s a great and affordable experience.
For a roadside attraction this is actually pretty fun for young kids. It's as if they've taken old life-size museum pieces of dinosaurs and placed them in a wooded area to make them look like they are in the wild. Plenty of fact s and a long path, coupled with a playground and it being dog friendly makes it a great place to kill a couple of hours on a long road trip.
