All clanton pd officers are very nice and they take time to listen and understand any issues/problems. They truly care about our community and may God bless them all and keep them safe! Thank you for all that you guys/gals do!

If I have 6 months to pay a fine then WHY WOULD I HAVE TO be in court once a month ? I am paying and will have it paid . Get off my back . Geeze . If I miss work ? Then I have less money to pay . Lock me up .. u get NOmoney ...... as long as I pay Somthing every week ? I know MY rent , Bill's mean nothing to yall . But they DO to my family

These guys have to be the best law enforcement officers I have ever run across in my life. They protect and serve and help and go beyond the Call of Duty more than anybody in any law enforcement agency that I have witnessed. Did all started about 3 days ago when I broke down near this town and had my vehicle toad to a dealership in this town. With the cost of the towing and the cost of that day food and so forth, I literally did not have $2 to my name. After trying to figure out what to do and with the help of someone else I was given the name to the Chilton County Emergency Assistance Program. I called them and went around there to the building they are located in and explain my dilemma to the gentleman that runs the assistance program and he immediately try to contact his Superior to get an okay to help me out. After failing to do so because it was late and a Friday afternoon he went ahead and paid for a motel room for two days to give me time to find a way back home. I left there and immediately met Officer Jyles which I hope I am spelling correctly, officer Giles gave me a ride to the motel and was the kindest most caring officer I have ever met. He made sure that everything went well at the motel and told me do not hesitate to call the police department if I further needed assistance and I could even ask for him if I liked. On Monday when my wife was supposed to be up to get me she ran into a problem and Dothan Alabama and we had to wait one extra day before she can make it up. We called the First Baptist Church in Clanton and met the pastor Mathew DeBord which immediately came can put me up for another night in a motel until my wife can make it the next day. When we arrived at the motel that he put me up in diversion officer from the police department helping someone else that had obviously ran into a problem themselves get to his room and helped him with his clothing and other personal belongings that he had. So it wasn't just one officer that stood above and beyond is Call of Duty. It seems that all the with the police department here in Clanton do the same thing. Which tells me that their leadership or chief of police has to be a great leader and a great man himself. I just can't say enough not only because of what they did for me but what I have witnessed them doing for others with an open heart and a kind gesture not judging whether you're poor middle class or Rich it seems that these gentlemen are top of the line. We here too much of the bad things that happen around our country and don't hear enough of the good and the leadership that is behind those and what they do and how they treat people. I personally am a Christian and I try to live my life following Christ and to be christ-like. But if I had to say I've ever seen the kindness and the help of a Christian and the manner that it is conducted, these guys take it very serious. If any Police Department in this country the deserves recognition, and the metal of Honor, they do. I would love to see that happen just out of the sure Joy of recognition that should be given to them for being the example of what they are and what law enforcement should be. Chief you definitely lead men of Honor and deserve the recognition of the leadership that you have to put out to cause these Great Men to conduct themselves with such honor. Thank you for allowing me to witness your leadership and their greatness behind it.
