A sad reminder of our American history. I pray that going forward we continue to get better with race relations in our country.
Went to the bookstore to find Gabriel's Balloon by Hope Ayers. They didnt have it yet but they had other books. The bookstore is vibrant and makes you want to buy something, and chill with a cup if coffee. The pavilion is designed zen like modern. Love tp just visit and vibe out on my hometown history.
Ate lunch at Pannie Georges' restaurant here. Great menu of soul and comfort food. Loved the fried chicken and squash casserole . Lots of southern style vegetables and corn bread. Oh yeah.
We loved the exhibit and the gift shop. Panniers George restaurant was very good.
Delicious food. Loved the dining area as well! Staff is very friendly and helpful.
