Concern: I called to verify that the park's visitor center was open before driving 20 miles from Montgomery. Park's answering machine stated that the Park was open and provided hours of operation. Upon arrival, we found signs posted on the entrance door that stated the Park was closed because of COVID-19 conditions. Please update the message on your answering machine.

I was driving to the casino at night so really didn't see anything
I walked the bridge that so many others had struggled to get across marching to secure their voting rights only to be beaten with Billy clubs and chased by dogs and cops on horseback. Truly riveting and enlightening experience for me 55 years later. Everyone should visit this bridge over the Alabama river. Important American History.
