Embassy Suites by Hilton Montgomery Hotel & Conference Center

Nice hotel right by the river and civic center. They have ample parking and a nicely spacious dining area. A few conference rooms and smaller meeting areas too. The courtyard style was pretty cool and made the place feel very open, fun for large groups. Nice gym, but the pool was under renovation when we stopped by. Best part was the great customer service at the front desk, super helpful and friendly. I'd certainly stop here again.

Awesome hotel! Loved the location, our room was very spacious and extremely clean. My kids really enjoyed the elevator. For some reason the front desk never answered the phone when I tried to call to ask for towels/extra pillows, but it was a busy Saturday. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Our stay here was an epic fail, as we are already dealing with the emotions associated with the death of our matriarch, that brought us out here. 1. Valet parking attendant was not available when we returned to the hotel at ~ 3:00 pm. We went to the front and they had no idea where he was. So we parked our car to the side. 2. We left and returned at 9:30pm and now Valet has gone for the day. Once again when we inquired I asked if it closes early and they said I guess because he left ~ 30 minutes ago. So once again we self parked. 3. We left early Saturday morning and returned around 5:30 pm. When walking up to our room we noticed dirty towels outside the room. We walked into our room assuming they are ours but our room hasn’t been cleaned. I called downstairs and they said they only clean every 3 days, which they said nothing when we checked in. They also said we need to call if we need something. I ask for towels and here it is an hour later......still no towels. 4. We go downstairs to get towels and Cat asks how were we doing and I say irritated, because I’m tired and irritated. I try to explain what my issue is and she cuts me off. Which feeds into the irritation. As I’m speaking through the mask she says she was scared because I was being aggressive as I’m irritated trying to ensure she hears me in a loud room through a mask. This is a micro aggression that causes further frustration. This hotels lack of empathy and communication have made for a horrible stay. If when we checked in they advised the expectation with the cleaning and the valet all of this could have been avoided. I have to care for your staff while dealing with my own emotions. A customer expressing there frustration is causing you pain. I can’t with this. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Would it have hurt this lady to just listen. The conversation could have gone so differently. After I explained my frustrations all she had to say was “ I do apologize, and you’re right we should have reiterated our policy. While I do recognize the inconvenience please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you now”. In a day filled with tears, and emotions, she could have played a big part in it ending on a high note.

It's very nice. It's the nicest I've been to yet. There are a few flaws but who doesn't?? Even then, it's nice. Good customer service, clean rooms, nice walk in showers; I'd definitely go again.

Very nice place. Happy hour from 5:30-7. If you upgrade you get a tray of free snacks. Pool was closed and no coffee till 7:30, (coffee in the room wasn't good) that's the only thing we didn't like about it.
