I really love this Saw’s and especially this location. With that being said, I’m extremely disappointed with the hours of operation. How is anyone supposed to enjoy your product when you’re only open from 11-2:30 M-T. I’m not sure if anyone else in the world operates this way. It’s frankly unacceptable and is a disservice to the community. I hope you reconsider these hours so the people of Birmingham can enjoy the best BBQ in town. You’ll get your deserved 5th star when this is addressed. Thank you.
Food was good, service was great. Unique dining room. Quiet and quaint location.
This is a small dive BBQ place that was recommended to me from some other foodies. The food was good and they give you plenty of it however the lady that took my order was either having a bad day or just does not like doing her job. She seemed quite irritated.
I've eaten at Saw's over ten times. High quality meat and an interesting sauce. The sauce is catsup-based, but has a hint of vinegar, rather like North Carolina sauce which is vinegar with added spices. I prefer the vinegar-based sauce because one can taste the meat much better, but it's hard to find in Birmingham. You may have to wait in line for a few minutes, but it is worth it. Also, the sides are quite good.
Headed there on 11.25.20 at 2:00. Says its open till 2:30. Pulled up in front at 2:08 saw the lady lock the door. Pulled on door lady came out and said they closed early for the holidays. Tried to support local owned business. Headed to another location on Dunston Ave.
