V & W Supply Co Inc

I specifically asked the salesperson, Lauren, if they could deliver my purchase to my porch, which she assured me they would do. My purchase was instead dropped off outside my garage and is too heavy to be carried up the stairs in the basement. I can get these supplies anywhere. Shouldn’t the service set the company apart? This is so irritating.nnUpdate: V & W left a reply to my review saying that my porch area is gated. This is FALSE. My porch is directly across the lawn from the curb of my street. V & W then stated that the driver tried to call me 3 times. This is true. What wasn’t mentioned was that 1) no voicemail was left, 2) I then tried to call the unknown number back multiple times less than 2 minutes later, and 3) got no answer on any of my attempts and was UNABLE to leave a voicemail due to then number not having set up voicemail yet.nnThere IS a gate on my property to my BACK YARD which is impossible to confuse with the front porch. Perhaps this is a case of one person (the delivery driver) being lazy or deceitful, but this reply from the company does nothing to instill faith in me in their competence or interest in customer care.nnLauren did do her job, though, which I appreciate.

I’d like to share my experiences of working with Dawn Calvert at V&W for the past 15 plus years. I’m a kitchen and bath designer. I rely on Dawn’s vast knowledge and many years in the plumbing industry to help guide my clients in making the best choices for their home. Dawn is professional and easy to work with, putting my clients at ease when making important decisions about their project. The previous review where someone called Dawn out specifically for one possibly missing part is simply inaccurate. I’d say my years of experience and great service with Dawn and V&W should outweigh one person’s bad day and ugly comments.

If you're a big company and want to do business with V & W, then you'll probably get treated right.nnBut, from my personal experience as an individual, they couldn't care less about you.nThey did not have the part in stock, and they had no interest in trying to obtain it for me. (even though they said they order it if I couldn't get it anywhere else)nnI've never been to a business that turns away a customer like this.nnSo, I can take a hint, I will not be back!

I stopped by to see a Kohler faucet in person, I was told I needed an appointment. The faucet I came to look at was literally 15 feet from me, the front desk guy chuckled when I asked if I could just look at that one faucet and be on my way, he shook his head while exaggerating a nooooooo. I would have called back and placed the order with their sales person but went a mile down the road to Southern Pipe & Supply and purchased the faucet. Work on your customer service.
