Highly recommend. Definitely worth the drive. If you can make a tour time, it's even better. It's very clean, safe, and professional. The restrooms are portables, so be warned and prepare. The animals all seem happy, healthy, and very well kept. My favorite part is that you get so close and can hear even the quiet sounds they make (better in a tour, as the guide explains their meanings). A couple of times the lions all started roaring at the same time, and it was awesome. The wolves howled together, too. I enjoyed that part of the experience more than any zoo I've ever visited, and that includes San Diego.

Experience was great! Animals seem to be well taken care of. Walk ways are a little rough. Not stroller friendly. Better signage would be nice.

This is a hidden gem of Alabama. Our daughter loved seeing the big cats and the local wildlife like the wolves and bears. Everyone here seems to really care about the animals. Will definitely be back

Neat place. In the middle of nowhere! (I guess that's a good thing.) Animals seem well taken care of and well fed.
