Great course! I'm local to the area and when my work schedule allows me to I golf this course 3-4 times a week. It does get extremely busy at times but thats to be expected when your playing a Jack Nicklaus designed course that sits next to a beautiful lake and 5 star casino hotel all tucked into a lovely state park. Membership rates are extremely reasonable ($350 a year for Maryland residents) compared to the local county club that wants $500 a year and is falling apart and Fore Sisters that has no real fairway or ruff and wants $1,500 yes that's right I said $1,500 a year for a membership. At the pro shop counter Jackson and Pete are incredibly helpful and always willing to try and find me a tee time when its busy and I show up out of the blue. The rangers are top notch as well. I left a 3 iron lay and they did everything they could to help me find it. It never was found but they always asked if it ever turned up. This is a challenging course not to be taken lightly but is very fun to play no matter what your handicap is. If your ever in the western Maryland area don't miss any opportunity to play this course!

We had such a great time playing 18 holes at Rocky Gap. The course is lovely and the carts are great with maps, scoring, and other information. The other players were friendly and so was the staff with one exception... the very unpleasant woman working the desk. Don't ask her a question, she certainly won't answer it. However, the guys at the carts, or up by the first hole are all very nice, friendly and helpful. I will play at this course again.

The $69 Rate for a Saturday was accurate for the conditions. Fun Day playing golf with Friends and a challenging Course. 3 Par 3's on Back and 3 Par 5's is not something you see everyday. Not sure greens have been rolled in a while. They looked GREAT from a distance as they appeared to have sprayed them with green. But very bumpy and no consistency. (I am an AVERAGE Golfer at best). Understaffed in concessions. No one in Snack Shack at #1/#10 to get andyFodd &Beverage. Only saw Beverage Cart attendant at #5 Tee then NEVER AGAIN. She was out of Hot Dogs, Sandwiches and Bud Light. Called in to ask the golf shop if Bev Cart was still out j(when we were on #14). Female employee that answered phone was less than helpful and clearly not in the right position to be talking to the general public. Unable to eat or drink during round was very disappointing for our group. Would have brought my own cooler and food if they allowed. Should have brought in staff from Casino to run Snack Shack. Then at the end of round, unable to POST score. Rocky Gap does not appear on the Maryland State Golf Association handicap system. They musts not participate, which is very odd for a MD Course.
