Room was clean and smelled clean. Sheets were white and bed was soft. Slept good. Good stay.

Stayed here awhile back and forgot to give a review. Staff were lovely, especially the young man in the beanie (sorry, can't remember his name) he made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in. I tend to stay in California hotels alot, so I was pleasantly surprised at the less formal atmosphere and wish more hotels would be like this. It made me feel very welcomed and gave it a nice friendly, country vibe that I love most about WV. Unfortunately the ice machine was out, and I was half afraid I was going to fall through some clearly dipping floors in the room I stayed in. Otherwise great stay.

Stopped late at night passing through on a road trip. David at the desk was awesome and got us checked in quick. Room was clean, beds pretty comfy. Right off 70...easy to find. Great find!

STAFF DID NOT WEAR MASKS. This is the primary reason for my one-star review. (Otherwise, I would give this hotel about a 3.) I saw a total of 5 staff members behind the desk during my stay and only ONE of them wore a mask. This is extremely dangerous and irresponsible during the pandemic, especially given that at the time of my stay, infection rates were the highest they'd been to date.nnAside from that, the staff was friendly and the place was a bit worn and a little sketchy, but the room was clean, especially the bathroom. The decor is really dark and outdated, though - dark green carpet, mustard yellow bedspreads - I felt like it was 1975. Also, there is no elevator. You have to ask at the front desk for not only shampoo, but also soap! I was glad I saw the sign at check-in, otherwise we would have had no soap at all in the room without making an extra trip back downstairs. Staff should at least ask if you need soap when you check in, for people who may miss the sign. Overall this was your standard cheap motel - you get what you pay for.

First off said they had truck parking and didn't. Second no ice. Third nothing but snow and ice to slip and fall on. Fourth the heater made ridiculous noises when it came on and couldn't get a happy medium all night. Bed was pretty hard and blanket was scratchy. Went to get a receipt and told they'd email it to me, yet never even asked for it when I checked in. I'm a smoker, but the butts in front of the door is gross!
