Great little place with a nice mom and pop feel. May not have the nicest or the most modern of amenities but it is clean, quiet place to sleep.
What you would expect for it cheap roadside motel in Petersburg West Virginia. The rooms were clean and rustic. They still use metal keys rather than card keys for entrance. Many of their rooms have multiple beds. Overall I was happy with the stay.
We were in trouble because the other place we were supposed to stay at, park motel, didn't have a room to give us, after I booked it in advance. We called homestead, explained the situation, they told us to come on over and they would take care of us. Very nice room, very clean, quit. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They also have an awesome view of the mountain range all the way down the valley.
It definitely needs updated. Old TV's. Great water pressure.
4 stars.. they kinda lacked in toiletries, but for the price and cleanliness of the room, pur stay was spur of the moment. We will be back . Staff was polite, helpful and friendly. Rooms were great and clean..
