Affordable self-wash carwash that is clean. Highly recommended.
**Update** I used my credit card because the car wash took my quarters and didn’t turn on. It cost $3 but they charged my card $10. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO A LOT OF PEOPLE, this place is a RIPOFF **nnThis place is not maintained well. 4 (out of 6) vacuums have been out of order for as long as I can remember. The car wash bays are dirty and the equipment is often broken. Today the car wash took my money ($2.25) and didn’t turn on. Unfortunately it’s the only DIY car wash in the area. Avoid if possible, drive up 620 to the wash in cedar park.
The worst car wash that Lakeway has in 620 the machine takes the money but does not give you service, it does not return the money, I do not know that the service is worse or that there is no number to claim for this
Its one of the few self car wash joints around so its popular on a sunny Saturday. $2.25 for 4 minutes. Takes quarters or credit cards. Opt for the credit. Finicky machine took 4 quarters extra from me without giving credit. Stalls were pretty dirty at 2 in the afternoon. Somebody needs to clean up the mud.
Paid for a $7 express wash and was charged for the $10 wash. At first, I was perplexed and a little bit upset, but told myself not to make a big deal over $3 difference...as long as I was going to GET a $10 wash. Well the wash didn't even perform a $7 wash on my car! Just a prewash and a spot free rinse. No soap!
