Uhhhhh.... What is that smell?nnThis WAS one of my favorite places to eat.nnFood - I would give 4 stars. Most everything has good taste. I have had a salads that were a little wilted and a couple of sandwiches with less meat than prior times, but for the most part, food was pretty good.nnService - Nothing to be expected other than take my order and bring me my food. Self serve drinks and condiments.nnThe low score is because of a smell that just took away from the food. Seems to be near the drink machines. If you go, sit as far from the drink machines as possible or take it to go.

One of my very favorite Waco lunch eateries! I've eaten most of their menu items over past several years and have yet to try anything that wasn't fresh and delicious! They obviously emphasize customer service training with their employees who are always positive, patient and helpful. I wish that Newk's would come to Temple so l could enjoy them more often!

One of my favorite places to have lunch! Sandwiches and soups are amazing. I love the newks club sandwich and the chicken tortilla soup. They have tons of delicious options. The gumbo is great when they have it!
