If you love dinosaurs, you need to visit. I had a 2-hour drive each way, and it was worth it! Set up a free tour for myself. Guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions.
The dinosaur fossils make are so good!
This is a hidden gem in DFW for those interested in dinosaurs. We LOVED our trip. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the private tour of the museum (by appt during COVID) and loved touching fossils and hearing about the fossil digging process. It was very educational and Alan the tour guide was SO knowledgeable and had gone on a dig first-hand. And it's all FREE! Incredibly value - would recommend to anyone.
My daughter loved looking at the dinosaur bones. The research they are doing there is incredible. I'm amazed the staff is around and are willing to talk about their work.
While in town for a basketball tournament, we were given a special tour of the museum! The tour guide kept our teenage basketball players engaged, increased their interest, and even had them raising their hands to ask questions. A fun and fascinating experience that will be a great memory for our players!
