Such a fascinating place rich in History with the RGV that has a whole lot of vintage exhibits. Some places (such as the jail chambers/archives) are closed to the public unless there's a special event. Still, the place is always shiny and clean with not that many people in it so it's perfect for a friend,family, or school trip outing. Some people even say the museum is haunted.. I admit that something felt off, especially if your in a room alone.

Reasonable admission price, friendly, knowledgeable staff but place was not well-organized.
