Any and all complaints about the onboard train staff should be directed straight to Amtrak in D.C.nnThat said, this is a nice Amtrak station to visit. The station doubles as a bit of history with some displays on the waiting room. Also, there is now a picnic area by the steam engine and caboose.nnBe prepared to wait behind the gate to the station platform as the platform is rife with scars from freight derailments.

Never on time. Wont use this train again.

This museum/train station has a very friendly staff. It is clear that they enjoy their visitors and Amtrak passengers. We love watching the trains from here, there is a great view from the outside, second balcony. It can be confusing to find the museum, but if you pay attention to the signs, you will find it easily enough. Our kids love this place too.

We got up at 4am to drive to Marshall Tx for 7:60am train. The train was 2 hrs late. No one loaded my heavy bag. The car was dirty and the airconditioner wasnt working. The staff did not offer other accommodations. Not good at all. Hopefully the next time my grands want a train ride it will be better.

Didn't get a chance to go inside so this review is from the train. The train staff is excellent. So professional and courteous. What an enjoyable experience. They have an observation car with windows everywhere. I've always wanted to take a train ride. I want to bring my family next time.
