As per other reviews, if your child is not a ROBOT, or fits into their PERFECT cookie cutter agenda, then they will be crucified for every little thing. The lunch ladies are even getting in on the fun, turning the kids against each other. It's a matter of good vs evil in this school. No room for error. NO, this is not a review from a disgruntle parent with a problem child. It's from a parent who has noticed so many things wrong in this school system. There has been a shift in leadership which is no longer in the best interest of the child. It's very obvious that how kids progress through school, how teachers and students interact and what the experience of education is like for a student does not exist here. The only thing that is important is their A grade from the state that looks good on the principals.

My family & I love SJE. Both of my daughters love it here as well. Great teachers, my girls have learned so much. Teachers are informative and helpful. They do lots of family events as well. Definitely recommend this school and district!

The new school is nice but unless your child is an obedient robot or can't quickly learn the lessons at the teachers supposedly accommodating pace; be prepare to have them all gang up on your child and complain about EVERY SINGLE thing he/she does, no matter how hard your child may try to please these demanding people. Unfortunately, your child could also get blamed and ridiculed for ridiculous reasons.

Great teachers. Very good communication between teachers and parents. You feel welcome.

Very disappointed in some teachers, among other staff members. I really expected more from a good rated school. I belive it's imparative for both the parents and teachers to educate the child. Parents trust the teachers to do their part and vise versa but when one continues to disappoint the child is the one who suffers. It also doesn't help a visiting parent or the children feel comfortable if you have constant rude staff members like the hispanic lunch lady at the register.
