I really love this school .I have 3 kids and all have attended there. My youngest currently in 1st grade and all her teachers have been wonderful. My son now at Bobby Shaw takes every chance he gets to go see all his old teachers there. My oldest now at Sam Rayburn also liked all the teachers. I have never had a problem with the principle or any other administrative .
The school I understand is being in process of remodeling but, the morning drop off is bad. Ridiculous that u can only enter school coming from Jenkins and not Burke. It makes other kids that have to go to other schools late because of that. And last week was my first time to pick up my son afternoon big, huge mistake. The afternoon picking up traffic is horrible. Its a two way street, parents were making it a three way street by driving thru the middle which at some day it will cause a Major accident. And being principal out there directing traffic was not doing nothing about it. They need a police vehicle out there watching what these crazy people are doing.
RUDE STAFF IN ADMIN OFFICEn. NO TRAFFIC MODERATION. PRINCIPLE. & VP REFUSE TO RETURN CALLS. TOTAL CONFUSION & DISRUPTION. DISRUPTS WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD. The kids not the problem BUT Staff DOES NOT CORRECT DISRUPTIVE PARENTS.
I love that school because the teacher's there are nice and care about the students
Great memories in this school whent there from 2001 to 2005 . Recently graduated high school class of 2016.
