I usually like Golden Chick considering its the only chicken place in LG for now. Usually, the food is really good, fresh but today it was not. The chicken pieces were dry & over cooked and the roll was not soft & buttery just dry, the inside was ok. If they had been busy and cars out to the road, I could say that might explain why it was not the best, they were rushed. I ended up throwing most of it away. I hope it was just because they were rushed but with only two cars in the drive thru I suspect it wasn't that. Or fryer having problems. Its my honest opinion of the meal I got today.
Somewhat disappointed with today's experience; ordered unsweetened tea, got sweet, chicken sandwich was cold and not crispy at all, and the staff were less than pleased to be there.
We were traveling through Lagrange and the meal was excellent. Staff helpful and gracious.
I enjoyed my chicken strips! My daughter had the chicken salad and it didn't set very well.
Only place I know to get fried okra with their fried chicken in LaGrange.
