Peters Colony Elementary school

The school and staff so far have been great the real issue is parking for parents. There is a pick up line by car that extends into the street well before kids are dismissed from school which causes traffic issues. There is no parking available to parents to pick up their children who do not live within walking distance of the school and parents are left with the only option of parking on the street or on the adjacent neighborhood streets further causing more traffic issues. Parents are not allowed to park in the guest parking lot for dismissal either. For a parent that has small children to have to wait outside in the Texas heat for 20-30 minutes to get their child after walking blocks to the school to get their child is absurd I cannot even imagine how awful it will be once colder weather occurs. There is no accommodation to parents with small children that pick up their children from the school. The car line is not efficient to get children to their cars in a timely manner and on a few occasions vehicles have died in the car line. Mine is one of those vehicles that does so,so I'm a special case having to walk to the school after parking to get my child with a child under a year old in tow. Please make parking for parents like myself that cannot have their vehicle sit in a car line for 30+ minutes idling (and don't suggest turning off a car with a baby in tow with the heat as it is in our lovely state) to wait out the line. There should be parking for parents that do not live near by or the grandparents that need to pick up their grandchildren as well. Please reconsider opening parking for the parents and grandparents that need to pick up their children from your school.

I used to go here but I had to go to middle school but it's a great school I recommend this school is school of the year actually no best school in history

Great school, great teachers, my kids love it ....they 're always mentioning positive thing about the teacher.....that means alot ..

This school was the best and I'm sad cause I dont go here anynore

Need to get better food and more nice staff
