Food is not as good as we thought. We moved here from Atlanta, GA. Atlanta has real authentic ShanXi cuisine. Because the owner is from Xi’an, Shanxi. This restaurant doesn’t even have Paomo lamb soup(羊肉泡馍uff09.
This place is a little hard to find if it’s your first time. It’s inside the food court called 美食坊, on the right side of the Indian restaurant. The noodles here are to die for. I love the dense texture of fresh Chinese noodles, and they do not skimp on the toppings& gravy at all. The beef pancakes are pretty good too. I’d highly recommend it if you enjoy authentic northern Chinese food and don’t need a fancy setting to enjoy it.
I tried the spicy oil splashing noodle. No. 7.nnIt is fresh noodle that I saw them cutting in the back right after they made them.nnThe noodles are thick but they are very good. It was pretty spicy which I like, but Westerners beware there is a bit of oil in the noodles but that's what makes them good. And it's in the name ;)nnI will definitely try some of the other dishes because the fresh noodle is unique.
Some of the best hand-pulled noodles in all Dallas. A+ would highly recommend
authentic shaanxi style noodles and bun. great service, reasonable price, nothing more to ask for.
