I know this is a chain, I get it. Why bother. However, if one has ever traveled to Brownsville you would understand that a good meal is actually very hard to find. I love coming to Jason's Deli. The menu is plentiful...a good mix of pastas, salads, soups, and of course sandwiches. I never leave on an empty belly and I always grab a boxed lunch for the following day at work (across the border). The menu is well priced, items can be substituted to your liking.

One of my few FAVORITE places in Brownsville! They're clean and staff is super friendly! Order the Manager's special half sandwich and salad/soup. Great deal for around $12 and plenty of food for two. I'm always hungry but I end up only eating the salad because I usually get everything in my salad. ud83dude0bud83dude0b I take the half sandwich home to share.

I love Jason's Deli every time. The only down side now is due to covid they don't allow people going up to the salad bar & making their own salads. I kinda wish they'd be like Golden Corral when it comes to that, but that just means I won't be getting a salad from Jason's deli until they allow us to make our own salads again.

I'm a vegetarian and when I asked what they had for me, they brought out an entirely different menu. I was in heaven. A whole menu for vegetarians just was overwhelming. Loved it!!! I had a wrap and a corn & bean salad. Both were excellent. See how easy it would be for all restaurants to keep everyone happy.5 *s for sure.

They have salad bar protected with plexiglass. They fix your salad which I don't mind because it's only one person with gloves and mask fixing your salad. You don't have many people touch the tongs.
