Star Nails

The atmosphere is amazing and calm. Tammy took her time and also treated me very nice. My pedicure looks amazing including g the over lay I had to get in one of my big toes. So even and neatly groomed. Massage was well needed and I overall loved it. I will be coming back here.

I have had no problems with them everytime i go! My favorite person is Henry! He is kind and careful with my little fingers, and does great designs! All around a great and affordable place to get nails and more!

I’ve been going to Star Nails for over 10 years now and just love the place. They always do a good job and are professional and friendly. Their salon is large and it is always my go to when I have friend visiting or need to get a group ready for an event.

This place is the only place I’ll go in college station, especially during a pandemic. Henry always does my nails and he is SUPER meticulous and takes his time. Daniel did my pedicure today, and it was probably the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten. This place is definitely so much better than any other place I’ve ever tried in college station, and cheaper! Everyone is kind and professional! 10/10 recommend!

I have never had such a bad experience! I went to get my nails done there two weeks ago. When I arrived I asked how much the powder full set would be I was informed it was 45 dollars and so I proceeded to look at the colors but when I didn’t see anything I liked I decided to get polish. When I tried to get polish the lady yelled at me and told me to sit down but hadn’t said anything to my cousin when she got hers. But I assumed it was maybe a covid thing, the moment I sat down the lady told me to get up and get a polish as if she just wanted to order me around. So I picked my color and they told me us to go sit at a table. As I was sitting there I saw Henry doing another girls nails and noticed he was being rough. When he was done with her nails Henry told me to come to his station. So at first he seemed to be nice until I asked him if they had a design chart he immediately caught an attitude and told me no I have to have a picture. So then he started doing my nails and he drilled my nail bed extremely flat so of course it was hurting so I kept tensing my hands up and he told me if I didn’t stop he wouldn’t do my nails. So he finished my nails and before he started polishing them he said rudely do not mess them up. I had just washed my hands and their towels are in a warmer so the towels left residue on my hands ( I was unaware) so after he did my nails I went to the drying station. While my nails were drying me and my cousin noticed a piece of lint was drying into my nails so me and my cousin tried to take it out and we couldn’t so I informed a man walking by and he got the polish and put another coat over it. Henry got angry and started fussing at me telling me he told me to be careful when I clearly had no control over the situation. That was the last straw I was extremely upset after that I did not tip him and I didn’t want to even pay the bill. My nails were hurting and a nail broke two days after. After that they just kept breaking I have three nails left and all of them break off leaving my nails bleeding my nails are extremely brittle.
