Cool place, good for a walk around.
We enjoyed learning the history. The grounds are beautiful and the swing is rather romantic. Im a sure the 20 of the first 300 to settle in Texas at Surfside Beach were happy with their decision.
There is a 150 foot in diameter, 7 foot tall wood fence, a 3 yard pile of dirt in the center, and two murals on two 4'x8' plywood. The pile of dirt and fence look to be 2 years old+-. That's it. There is a very nice 1/4 walking trail around it, and a great swing though...
Its pretty and comfortable now. However, I hope that there is more work that is going to be done.
