Great staff! Super friendly and helpful!
Free parking and admission. Much bigger than it looks - it's several buildings with the walls knocked down between them. Plan on 2-3 hours if you read everything (there's also a library with many binders FILLED with more photos, newspaper clippings and history notes), 1 hour minimum. 2 Neat kids areas: movie theater & play area.
Small and charming local museum with miniatures of historic buildings and structures.nThe children's exhibit had hands on crafts and activities. We really enjoyed the temporary shark exhibit.nWe got there about 1.5 hours before close and had plenty of time to see all but the little theater movie. If you're looking for something to do near the Freeport park, it's worth the little detour.
