This is ALWAYS a Great place to visit even if there ISN'T a special event going on. The best thing it's FREE and the Art exhibits change periodically depending on the time of season. It is a walking distance from the entrances regardless of where you park. Taking a stroll to get to the building is always nice and shady. The summer time can be extremely hot so make sure to take bottled water. This location does have elevators depending on an event they may block off that area but accommodations can be done. There are Restrooms available for those visiting and it is handicap accessible.

This is a cool little place that is often overlooked by even those that live in the city. Lots to see and do.

This was my first visit to the Mexican Cultural Institute and I was impressed!! Their doors were open welcoming people during the opening night of Fiesta downtown at Hemisphere Park. The colorful pieces of the Mexican culture were brought to life by a docent telling the story of the creatures, each a mix of different animals. Really interesting and a great experience.

There's always something interesting to see, and there very friendly.

This is a very unique building. The artwork is very different from room to room. One room I liked (linocuts) and the other room was contemporary crayon drawings from what my 4 year old niece draws.nnAll in all, it's worth a visit.
