Very cool place. We found it just walking by and decided to go back for a visit. Inexpensive for what you experience. Remarkable breath taking exhibits done with such talent and detail. Great for any age or group size. Plenty of facilities super convenient. Cute gift shop just in case.

Very good museum with many artifacts and displays on western art and culture through the centuries. Whether spurs or statues, you'll find something interesting here. It's just off the Riverwalk, so swing by when you're down there.

Great exhibits. Please see my pictures for more info. Keep in mid, that these artworks should be seen in person for the full experience naturally.

This was a really lovely museum. We had a guest in town and wanted to take them to a museum with a local feel to it, and this really nailed it. The exhibition is not too large, so you can easily see every piece without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The staff was very helpful and informative. The gift shop also had a lovely selection of relevant books and other items. I would highly recommend! Next time we will be sure to bring a coffee to enjoy in the outdoor sculpture park.

We have been visiting San Antonio for years and never noticed this museum before. It’s on the Riverwalk and very easy to get to (street or Riverwalk level). Definitely worth taking the time to see some western art (much of it has a Texas connection). Entry fees to the museum are reasonable, but there is also an outside courtyard with sculptures that is open/no charge. We spent over an hour here and really enjoyed it (gift shop has a nice selection too).
