This Place is Amazing. Your Welcomed with Warm Smiles. The staff is Friendly, kind and stationed throughout the Museum with any information needed. The place was to Large for us to visit all Art exhibits. We are excited to come back. The Gift Store is well Organized with a Great Staff. There is an Elevator to reach the other Floors and also a Large in door Open Spaced Stairway. Directly across the street is Parking fir the Museum. There is also a Rent a Bike station in that Parking lot. The Restrooms are Big and clean. You will enjoy the Art Museum so much, no doubt you will Return.
I was lucky to come in to this place when it first opened. It has a small collection then, now 2021 finally the gentrification of the area has taken root and with that hopefully a growth spurt for this pretty museum. The benefits of the smaller galleries is the concentration of the works needing to be displayed. For now you can actually enjoy the entire museum after breakfast and enjoy a late lunch if you decided to see all it has to offer.
Is was an interesting trip. The works were cool. And it a good way to kill sometime. Definitely coming back. The gift shop doesn't really have anything cool.
What a place. I loved it. Take your whole family to this place enroll your children in programs involved with San Antonio Museum of Art. Our world is changing so much that our children won't even appreciate art unless it's digital. What do I know. We try so hard to hold on to the past that we aren't present. Let do better together.
We did the free Tuesday which starts at 4pm-7pm. It was plenty of time to see all the exhibits. They also had a special exhibit on movie metal that kids liked. The only thing we paid for was parking and it was only $5. Will be back.
