We've been coming to this restaurant for a while. Always great food. It's also nice to see that they have finished lots of renovations that were making the place a bit hard to look at. However this last visit had me a bit let down with the food quality. All the vegetables in my burrito were basically charred. 1 strike is definitely not enough to steer me away though. I'll be coming back still!
Excellent service! Fast. Very tasty. My favorite is Bacon and Egg breakfast tacos. They are sure to give you a big, thick piece of bacon every single time, unlike other restaurants which give you diced up and skimpy pieces. Go here. Great prices, great location. I would recommend though that they repair or remove the banner outside. It is torn and tattered and does not represent the very tasty and yummy food that awaits you inside.
Service was great employees are delightful.. the chicken in my enchiladas was bad!!! And when I say bad I mean it was rotten I took two or three bites before realizing how bad it smelled, and me just wanting to be sure try to piece the chicken by itself and it was beyond disgusting. I hate giving bad reviews, I mean a hair that's fine food not cook properly that's okay but in my opinion there is no excuse for this.. I've been a server I'd worked in the food industry there are step and procedures we take to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen
They did some renovations and the place looks nice. They have big portions and the food is good. The parking lot is small though.
The food is great, but we live in San Antonio. Literally every zip code has over two dozen restaurants and all have delicious food. So the differentiator is service. And unfortunately that service missed the mark. It's a shame because I'll have to find a new place I go to. If you're bilingual or Spanish speaking, listen to the cooks and their behavior and language. Subpar at best.
