Got in super fast. Really appreciated the expertise their Estitician Maria gave! Loved the facial and going back for other treatments!
There are so many dermatologists in the city and surrounding area. Dr. Rainey is head and shoulders above the rest because she is constantly refining her craft and sharing her knowledge with her clients. I have been a proud client of hers for many years. Botox, laser hair removal, fillers, medical expertise. It’s all here. She uses the best products and cutting edge technology.nIf you are looking for subtle changes that make BIG impacts on your skin and general appearance, this is your place. I have never had a treatment here for anything that I was not happy with.
Would not recommend. Went in for a procedure I was told over the phone could be performed (the only reason I booked) for what my issue was and was stared blankly in the face by Dr.Rainey who told me her staff would not say that, then took my $120 deposit without even a word of advice for my condition but was told she would consider the procedure. I paid $120 to be given bad information and told it would be considered. Save your money, do some research and go to a compassionate doctor, not someone who will dismiss you before you even open your mouth.nn*Update as of 11/30/20*nIt turns out my condition was dandruff, something that could have easily been diagnosed by a dermatologist who took the time to examine me accurately and ask me a question or two. Ended up costing me $120 to just do the research myself and diagnose myself in order to get relief. If a dermatologist can’t diagnose dandruff... at some point they’re just collecting down payments without regard for the patients well being. Thank God for Google! The disappointment is not worth $120. Save your money!
I have been searching for a dermatologist ever since I moved to Texas, and I found a great one! I made an appointment with PA Galvan, and I was quite impressed.nThe Admin staff was pleasant and worked around my schedule for the appointment. The office is brand new and is beautiful and clean. PA Galvan was very pleasant and had a great bedside manner. He answered all of my questions, and was not in a rush to get me out of the door. During the appointment, Dr. Finklea stopped in to introduce herself, and she was so pleasant! I just love how this staff made me feel like I was at home during the appointment....it's kind of rare.nI highly recommend PA Galvan and any doctor at this practice to anyone in the area who is looking for a dermatologist!
I asked for a quote for a procedure, and they didn't give me one, but co-opted me into a 'cheaper' procedure (changed billing code). But this cheaper procedure didn't include the standard biopsy (which is unethical / wrong to omit IMO considering my circumstances). I requested that they still do the biopsy, and the PA was unapologetic and eventually upcharged me. Only redeeming thing is the head dermatologist talked with me later and apologized for my bad experience.nnOverall, I wish the PA had gone by the book and given me the correct quote upfront versus trying to omit the biopsy. This led to me not getting a correct price quote and having to pay more than expected out-of pocket. If you come here, I would recommend seeing the actual dermatologist.
