Motlow State Community College McMinnville Campus

Wonderdul school with great faculty, staff and students. Great place to get an education.

This college has got great teachers. I went to the tech center behind hospital before this for nurse course and that place sucked! Motlow is hands down the best for a 2 year degree.

While the Tennessee Promise is a wonderful thing, look elsewhere for your education and money. SERIOUSLY! Motlow NO LONGER HAS ANY LOAN PARTICIPATION and the rates they set family participation at is outrageous. Meaning, unless you were a valedictorian and applied for more than 20 scholarships and have serious family need, rendering Tennessee Promise useless, you have no financial help whats so ever. Oh, sure, you can apply for a personal loan, with jacked up rates and having to pay immediately after borrowing, WHICH IS WHY YOU APPLY FOR STUDENT LOANS INSTEAD OF PERSONAL loans in the first place. Next semester I will be transferring to a different institution, and that makes me sad because they have wonderful staff who are truly helpful and will go the extra mile. This is a DEAL BREAKER.

Motlow (McMinnville campus) is a wonderful community college. The classes are small; the professors and staff are friendly; and it's in a good area. A book store is in the neighboring technical college and a hospital is at the bottom of the hill. City traffic isn't too bad since the campus lies toward the outskirts of McMinnville. Also, anything a person needs can be found in the city: restaurants, stores, etc.
