Really cool place. They have a display of these beautiful woven blankets and clothes. Informative and enjoyable. Its small, so don't expect to spend 3 hours here.
I expected more, but what they have in their small space is nice. The exhibit on Mayan weaving is really interesting.
It's free and interesting! There are always 3 different exhibits up, historical or anthropological or archaeological. There are special activities available for young kids.
Much more exciting than anticipated! We went during the Night at the Museums event and it was wonderful! They are doing lots of cool research and answered all our questions. I expected boredom but was left very pleased
Always a pleasure to see the hard work of the anthropology and archaeology departments. Paul is an amazing curator and director. The exhibits are always interesting and well done. Staff is knowledgable and committed to their craft.
