Four Points by Sheraton Memphis - Southwind

Poor experience. Breakfast was closed. Went by at 7:25 this am, and while there were bags behind the counter (maybe breakfast) there was no one there to hand them out or answer the phone. So we went out. Fitness center closed. Pool closed. The environmental control unit sounds like a hey engine in room 125 and 127, and the refrigerator in 125 is almost as loud. The only reason they get two stars is because, while the sign says the CDC had mandated the closure of certain facilities, and the CDC has certainly not, the local Department of Health may have. Regardless, none of this was explained while checking in.

Entry way entering in lobby area, smelled really awesome! Even thru the ud83dude37 mask! Upon entering our room, it Also smelled nice & clean! Very roomy! Bed was extremely comfortable! Overall good experience! Thanks a bunch for your great hospitality Four Points by Sheraton Memphis! Thumbs Up!...

We were charged a $250 fine for smoking in the room. Which did not happen but because there was an empty pack of cigarettes some stems and a half of a cigarette that was put out before entering the hotel no ashes were found and accusations that the room smelled like smoke. However there was no smoking in the room. The manager was not interested in my plea and although we stayed at several Marriott locations over the past few months with no incident. My continued business is not worth removing this erroneous fee. No more Marriott stays for me I wish it could be different

Comfortable beds and nice, clean room. Reception people could have been friendlier.

Service was excellent rooms nice clean and comfy enjoyed my stay
